Why
Men (And Women) Cheat
An article in The Journal of Couple & Relationship
Therapy (Atwood and Schwartz, 2002) indicated that in
recent studies 45-55% of married women and 50-60% of
married men admit to having had extramarital sex. An
interesting and important finding is that divorcees
rarely actually marry the person with whom they have had
an affair. And cheating is not reserved only for married
couples. Cheating occurs in any relationship in which a
spoken or unspoken agreement of exclusivity has been
broken. More

as "the new crack cocaine, leading to addiction,
misogyny, pedophilia, boob jobs and erectile
dysfunction…." More

A Guide To Diaphragms
A method of contraception, the diaphragm is a dome-shaped
cup made of thin, flexible rubber. It is inserted high into
the vagina and placed over the cervix (the area between the
vagina and the uterus). By covering the cervix, the
diaphragm prevents sperm from entering the uterus and
fallopian tube and reaching the egg for fertilization.
Proper use of the diaphragm includes placing spermicide in
the cup and along its edges before inserting the device.
This destroys any sperm that may manage to swim around the
rim of the diaphragm. A diaphragm is not designed to protect
women from sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

Stress and Infertility
When you are trying to get pregnant, it is impossible not to
feel stress as months pass by and diagnoses are confirmed. Hope
waxes and wanes depending upon what treatment is available and how
long you have been trying to get pregnant. Add to this emotional
mixture the real demands of doctor's visits, medications,
monitoring, and cost, and it would seem impossible for stress not
to enter the picture of coping with infertility.

Tonight Dear: Getting Better Sleep for Better Sex
In the beginning of a relationship, coming to work sleepy
often means that your sex life is going well. But surveys,
experts and common sense suggest that people who are
chronically sleep-deprived actually have less sex.
"Sleep and sex is not a topic on which a lot of research has
been done," says Dr. J. Catesby Ware, the chief of sleep
medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School and the director
of the Sleep Disorders Center at Sentara Norfolk General
Hospital. "But there are a lot of ways that sleep affects
one’s sex life."

Orgasm
Q & A
Orgasm is an emotional and physical experience that occurs
during a normal sexual response cycle. During this cycle,
pleasure peaks and is then accompanied by a sense of release
from sexual tension. During orgasm, both men and women
experience involuntary, rhythmic contractions of the pelvic
muscles. The mind senses these contractions as pleasurable, but
the intensity of these sensations differs from person to person.

Understanding Priapism
It's been alluded to on television emergency-room dramas,
laughed at in the movies and cited as a warning for those
taking popular medications. But it is unlikely that you have
ever heard the real medical name of this condition and the
serious impact it can have on a man's life. Priapism is a
condition that causes a prolonged erection that can result
in pain and discomfort. While many make jokes about this
condition, it can be very dangerous and medical attention
needs to be sought immediately.

When Did "Sex" Become A Four-Letter Word?

Giving
Men Some Birth Control Options
Ever since the approval of the birth control pill in the
1960s, men have mostly stood on the sidelines in regard
to contraception. Women looking to prevent a pregnancy
have various forms of pills, patches and implants
available, but options for male contraception fall on
distinctly different ends of the spectrum: the
one-time-only condom and the often permanent vasectomy.
But the responsibility of family planning may not need
to be borne by women much longer.

The Mystique of Female

men's indulgences), many women are still uncomfortable owning and
enjoying their sexual pleasures, desires, fantasies, and sources
