My boyfriend thinks
there is something wrong with him because he cannot orgasm more
than once a day unless there is about a 10 hour period in-between.
He thinks because he is 23, he should be able to go several times
a day. I tell him everyone is different and he has nothing to
worry about. Am I lying to him, or should we be genuinely
concerned?
Get
the "shoulds" out of your lovemaking! Seek out what you both are
comfortable with. An honest explanation of what you want and need
may help. You might want to check out verbally why he wants to
have an orgasm more than once every 10 hours. Be cautious of
setting any standard and then focusing on achieving the same. Sex
can become goal-directed and a performance, rather than the
sharing of two souls. Lighten up and enjoy!

I think the
concern your boyfriend has is that he cannot ejaculate more than
once a day unless there is a long period of time in between. Your
boyfriend will still be able to have an orgasm; he may just do it
without ejaculate. Your boyfriend may be experiencing retrograde
ejaculation. It may not be something to be worried about but it
would not hurt to have him go see a urologist to rule out any
medical issues.
