My lover is 69
years old, has type 2 diabetes, non insulin, and takes a beta
blocker for high blood pressure. I have been with him for 14
years. The last couple of years, he is very tired all the time --
blood pressure meds we think. Our sex life has always been good.
He is very worried because all at once in the last day or so, he
has a good climax and then his erection won't go down, and he
still feels like he can climax again. Today after we had good sex
and he climaxed, he left and got aroused again, went home and
watched a porno tape and climaxed 2 more times. This hasn't been
happening since he had been much younger, and it's upsetting him.
He said "something's wrong.....its not normal". Can I have some
feedback please? I am praying this isn't from an underlying health
problem.
To begin with I
am not a medical doctor and a lot of the information that you seek
is medical. The phenomenon you describe is unusual, it is not
however an indication, as I understand it, a sign of severe
medical problems. Should an erection last more more than 8 hours,
it can be a medical problem and requires medical attention
immediately. The fact that he ejaculates two or three times in a
short time frame is novel and of interest but not time for panic. - Answer provided by Michael Gonzales, Ph.D.,
