I
am away from my girlfriend for awhile and masturbate a lot. Does
this affect my sperm count in any way or affect my sexual
performance?
You
may reduce your sperm count but your body produces millions of
these lil' buggers every day. 300 - 350 million sperm cells in the
average ejaculate. The impact on your sexual performance can vary
greatly, depending on many factors, such as how often is "a lot".

Masturbation is
a healthy expression of one's sexuality. It in no way has a
negative or long term effect on sperm production or sexual
performance. A healthy man can replenish his sperm count every 24
hours. Therefore, unless you are masturbating many times a day
every day, you have nothing to worry about. - Answer provided by

Masturbation
does not impact sex drive or sexual performance except that most
men do need some time to "recharge" before they can have sex
again. If you are trying to get your girlfriend pregnant then
refraining from masturbation to build up the amount of sperm you
will ejaculate is a good idea. Otherwise, have fun.
